NIBC are encouraging its members to spend a couple of minutes completing a survey that is being conducted by our sports National Governing Body, the English Indoor Bowls Association Ltd.

 

The answers that you give will enable us to work closer with the EIBA to improve the game of bowls for you, our members.

After the successful inaugural ‘Premier Threes’ singles competition last season the East Midlands Premier Bowls, supported by the English Indoor Bowling Association Ltd, have today announced the continuation of this event for the 2010-2011 season.

 

The ‘Premier Threes’, sponsored by Brewin Dolphin, will be held on Sunday 1st May 2011 at Nottingham Indoor Bowls Centre and is The New Face of Bowls.

 

The ‘Race for Nottingham’ takes the format of 5 Open singles competitions at participating clubs across the East Midlands and Norfolk.

Players are vying for a place in the top 48 on the ranking list and with it an automatic invite to play in the ‘Premier Threes’ event on 1st May 2011.

 

The 5 Opens are: -

Lincoln - Friday 15th to Saturday 16th October 2010

Spalding - Monday 27th to Tuesday 28th December 2010

Acle - Saturday 1st to Sunday 2nd January 2011

Boston - Friday 11th to Saturday 12th February 2011

Ely - Friday 22nd to Saturday 23rd April 2011

John Bell, Lawn Bowls Performance Director for the 2010 Commonwealth Games, has today confirmed the final line up of England's Team. The Commonwealth Games will be held in Delhi from the 4th - 13th October 2010.
